NO PRIOR PAINTING EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY!!!
I would LOVE to share with you step by step how you can create your very own lotus energy painting using acrylic paints, collage, stenciling, stamping, etc.
The lotus flower represents re-birth, purification and spirituality. It emerges in it's beauty from the darkest, murkiest ponds. When you paint the lotus flower, you connect to the beauty and re-birth that is happening in your own life. It is often in the "darkest" and "dreariest" moments of our lives that we have the STRONGEST SPIRITUAL GROWTH & TRANSFORMATION. As you connect with your painting you may receive "nudges" or "ideas" about adding other symbols. I will encourage you to listen to that guidance.
I will teach you an intuitive and fun process of painting that will allow you to be free and tap into your creativity and “Right Brain” thinking. This class is great for beginner painters who would like to learn how to create and trust their intuition as well as seasoned painters looking for inspiration and to learn new techniques.

All painting and mixed media supplies will be included in the cost of the workshop, as well as a large canvas for you to paint on.
Please bring a lunch and snacks. A break will not be scheduled at a specific time so that you can take breaks when you are waiting for your paint to dry.
Please wear an apron or smock and/or clothes that you do not mind getting paint on. If you're like me it may get messy!
I will have some different images available but I encourage you to find pictures that you like to bring with you to the workshop for inspiration or collage.

You will practice lots of painting and "layering" techniques to add color, texture and movement to your painting.
You will learn how to trust your intuition and develop and enhance your own unique style. The goal is to have a finished or "almost" finished painting by the end of the day that you can feel proud of!
PAYMENT POLICY AND REFUNDS: SPACE FOR THIS WORKSHOP IS LIMITED TO 15 PEOPLE. A $25 DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT. THIS CAN BE REFUNDED TO YOU UP UNTIL 1 WEEK BEFORE THE WORKSHOP EVENT DATE, AFTER THAT IT MAY NOT BE REFUNDED BUT YOU CAN USE IT AS A CREDIT FOR FUTURE WORKSHOPS.
