Favs - 2015
2015 was a difficult year for me emotionally. I was continuing to navigate my new life as a single mother sharing custody of my 2 children. This was also the year that my boyfriend was sent to a minimum security prison due to charges against him invlolving his tax business. As a result, I did not paint for many months. Then, towards the end of the year, I got inspired and these 2 beuties emerged! Many blessing came from this dark period in my life including me and my ex husband letting go of our disagreements and getting along really well. Also, my boyfriend and I became much close while he was in prison, something that I did not expect. These 2 paintings have a lot of emotional meaning for me and are the only paintings that I created in 2015. They are currently hanging in my home where I am enjoying them. I am looking for a special "home" for them to be loved and cherished and to bring joy to others.
